Why do we do this?

The challenge for this project is to translate the strong needs of the client for contemporary housing that focuses on usability, performance, and aesthetic appeal. The problem statement focused on how the contractor client could attract future clients from this portfolio to showcase the work and build trust.

Crystal G (Client)

“We need an ideal design for a showcase of our portfolio that has high-performance usability in the design.”

Contem Studio

“After multiple communications with the clients, analyzing, and brainstorming their needs and wants, we concept a new design style that is eye-catching and noticeable for the client.”

Results

The new design has attracted new clients for our contractor client, and they gain new customers after seeing the portfolio.

The CG House incorporates the minimal aesthetic of a modern look and focuses on the climate and environmental responses of tropical conditions. The design of the house primarily focuses on the functionality of the users. Open floorplans are also incorporated in this house and simple tones and textures into the interior part of the house.

Free ornamentation and connections of the design characteristics compose the creative part of our CG House project. Modernist ideas are incorporated into elements of the house on multiple scales. This residential home also expands space boundaries into the structures, light, and ventilation. The front elevation explores a contemporary aesthetic that creates a character and balance between design identities.

The population in the location tends to prefer the functionality of the house and the comfortability of the living spaces rather than just a matter of form. Changing lifestyles in this era shift the market needs and the habits and economic stability of the generation.
